Houlahan has set sights on seat held by Darrell Issa
SANTEE, CA — Stephen Houlahan, registered nurse of Santee, CA and Democratic candidate for California’s 50th Congressional District, earned the endorsement of the East County Democratic Club.
Mr. Houlahan has served on the city council of Santee, as well as as its vice-mayor. During that time, he helped stop a dangerous power plant and pipeline in the district, protected public lands, introduced and passed term limits for council members, and fought to make sure firefighters and paramedics got the contract with the city they deserved.
Said Mr. Houlahan upon receiving the endorsement:
